ZELLAMID® 1500 X PEEK is a high-temperature resistant thermoplastic and, with a glass transition temperature of around 150 °C and a melting temperature of about 340 °C, belongs to the high-performance plastics category.

PEEK is one of the most powerful thermoplastics worldwide and is used in applications where extreme requirements for temperature, mechanical, and chemical stress are placed. The material is a highly durable alternative to fluoropolymers with significantly less wear. It is a material that exhibits excellent tribological properties.

• High temperature resistance up to +260 °C,
briefly up to +300 °C
• Excellent mechanical properties even at low
temperatures down to −60 °C
• High hydrolysis resistance
• Very good resistance to many organic and
inorganic chemicals

• Very resistant to high-energy radiation (gamma

30% Glass Fiber

This glass fiber reinforced type significantly reduces the coefficient of thermal expansion compared to unreinforced PEEK while simultaneously increasing the modulus of elasticity. Ideal for applications requiring high stiffness, static load, and improved dimensional stability at temperatures above 150 °C.
